Dave & Joni Chalfant have generously shared their collection of historic Plains Indian Moccasins. Twenty six pairs from varying sizes including children’s and even one pair for a doll. There are also fully beaded ceremonial moccasins. This display will be here until the end of September.

Veteran’s “My Story of Service”:

The Graham County Public Library has become aware of a way to memorialize our Kansas Veterans.

The Robert J. Dole Institute currently has a digital display of Veterans of WWII and plans to extend that to include all Veterans to present date. Submissions (with a downloadable photo) can be made on the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics website OR the staff here at the Graham County Library would be happy to submit the applications for you.  Information needed includes a photo, title/rank, military branch, dates and a brief story of your service. Fun Fridays and Story Hour will begin September 10th. Story Hour will run from 10:00 to 10:45 for children 3 to 5 years old. Child must be 3 by September 1st. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Fun Fridays will start at approximately 3:45 and run until 5:00 p.m. for students 2nd through 5th grade.

Beginning Monday, March 29, 2021, the library will expand its hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We will still be closed on Saturdays until further notice.
