This month we are pleased to share custom wood crafts by Buck Watkins and Chris Gansel. Items are all for sale and if there is a special item you would like but we don’t have in the display, Buck assures us he can create one in short order!  Stop by to see this beautiful artwork.

The library will be closed December 24th and 25th in observance of Christmas and the 31st and January 1st in observance of  New Year’s.

Veteran’s “My Story of Service”:

The Graham County Public Library has become aware of a way to memorialize our Kansas Veterans.

The Robert J. Dole Institute currently has a digital display of Veterans of WWII and plans to extend that to include all Veterans to present date. Submissions (with a downloadable photo) can be made on the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics website OR the staff here at the Graham County Library would be happy to submit the applications for you.  Information needed includes a photo, title/rank, military branch, dates and a brief story of your service. You can contact us at 785-421-2722 for more information.
