The Graham County Public Library will be closed Monday, May 31, 2021 in observance of Memorial Day.

Beginning Monday, March 29, 2021, the library will expand its hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We will still be closed on Saturdays until further notice.

Our Summer Reading Program “Tales and Tails” will begin Tuesday, June 1st. Sign-up will begin then. The Mad Science group from Kansas City will be here June 17th for a program.  All ages can sign-up. We will have the adult program again to! 
Now is the time to enroll your child in summer Story Hour at the library. This free program is for children ages three through five years.  The first session begins on Thursday, June 3, 2021 and will continue for six weeks. Classes begin at 10:00 a.m. and last for 45 minutes.
On Friday mornings during June and July, 2021, the library will host “Fun Friday”  This program will go from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and is for students that were in 2nd grade through 5th this year. Mindi Jackson-Bloom will host the program again this year with crafts, games, snacks and other creative activities
At this time, we will not be doing our monthly book discussions until the fall.
The library is planning to hire a part-time library assistant. The position will be 15-20 hours a week with work on 2 Saturdays a month required. For more information or to pick up a job description/application call or come by the library 785-421-2722 by June 1st.
