Beginning Monday, March 29, 2021, the library will expand its hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We will still be closed on Saturdays. We request that patrons wear a face mask and social distancing at the computers will still apply.

Becky Richmeier, art teacher at Hill City Junior/Senior High School, has set up a display of ceramic pigs made by the seventh graders. Come by and see these creations by our up and coming artist.

Stop by and view the beautiful quilt display provided by Delores Keiswetter and Cheryl Morphew!

Plans are being made for our Summer Reading Program “Tales and Tails”. The Mad Science group from Kansas City will be here in June. We also hope to have a concert by Jammin’ Randy providing we get approval from our local health officers.

At this time, we will not be doing our monthly book discussions until the fall.

The library is planning to hire a part-time library assistant within the next couple of months. The position will be 15-20 hours a week with work on 2 Saturdays a month required. For more information or to pick up a job description/application call or come by the library 785-421-2722.
